The questions we actually get asked.
Can I move my data off VISIONS ERP later?
Yes — that's what "actually owns" means. Export your products, customers, transactions and ledger whenever you want, in formats you can open in a spreadsheet. No exit fee, no waiting on a ticket.
How long does it take to get running?
Most businesses are selling the same week they sign up. Spin up your company, bring in your lists, open the till — and we'll help with the import.
Does it handle 5% VAT?
Yes. VAT is calculated on every invoice, credit note and purchase, with the totals your VAT return needs already summed.
Can it run more than one branch?
Yes — multi-branch stock, purchasing, users and reporting, all on one set of books that can never disagree with itself.
Where is my data stored, and who can see it?
Each company's data is isolated in the cloud, and access inside your company is controlled by roles and permissions you set.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes — a 14-day free trial with no credit card. Cancel and export any time.
Do you support post-dated cheques?
Yes. PDCs live inside receivables and payables — issued, presented, cleared and bounced — all tracked against the ledger.
Which plan includes HR & payroll?
Every plan includes it - organisation structure, attendance and leave, payroll, gratuity accrual, expense claims, loans and overtime. Plans differ on how many employee records are included, not on the module itself.
Can it run more than one company?
Yes. A group runs several companies under one login, each with its own books. Reports read either one company or a consolidated view over the companies you choose, so the group trial balance, balance sheet and profit and loss are the true sum of their books rather than a spreadsheet someone assembles.
How do transactions between our own companies work?
An inter-company transaction posts two linked, balanced entries, one on each company’s books, both through a shared inter-company clearing account with opposite signs. Each company shows what it is due to or from the group, and on consolidation that clearing nets to zero, so the elimination happens on its own rather than as a manual journal at year end.
Can we report by branch as well as by company?
Yes. Every posting is attributed to its branch, so a statement can be narrowed to one branch inside a company, or left across all of them. Users are given the companies they should see, so a branch manager’s login is not a group login.
